Holistic Homeschool Adventures

was born from a wanderlust family who deeply values the roots they’ve created at home. We believe you don’t have to choose between staying grounded and seeing the world—you can do both.

Our experiences invite families into immersive, unforgettable learning as you explore new places, build meaningful friendships that stretch beyond geography, and engage with the world with curiosity and intention. This is travel that complements your life at home, not something you have to give everything up for.

At its heart, Holistic Homeschool Adventures is about deepening your homeschool experience—connection with yourself, with each other, and with the rich material you explore together. Learning begins at home, comes alive abroad, and continues long after you return.

I’m Brook, your Adventure Guide

My philosophy for education was planted far before I ever dreamed of being a homeschool mom. While I was a pretty decent student, in fourth grade I came home with my first C. It was in science, and no matter what we tried, I couldn’t motivate myself to play the education game and memorize the material. I was raised by a young, single mom who worked for the airlines and with our free flights, she pulled me from school one day, and we took a day trip to San Francisco simply to visit a science museum. I remember it was a chilly day and getting a souvenir sweatshirt. I remember eating clam chowder from a sourdough bowl. And I remember enjoying science more that day than ever in my life, wondering why class wasn’t made more fun. I walked away questioning everything about why we learn the way we do and forever cherishing the the big, audacious way my mom invested in me.

Through our windy road of finding homeschool when we got curious about traveling the US by camper, and eventually jumping in as Covid homeschoolers, I have become chronically curious about the best way to educate our kids + how the heck we truly prepare them for the future. Pair that with my professional background as a therapist, coach, and healer, and what always felt the best is a path that prioritizes emotional well-being, adventure, critical thinking, creativity, a pursuit of personal interests, and community.
